BORDERLESS,  TRAVEL WITH KIDS

Easy DIY LEGO Travel Kit

Summer break is almost here. That means there’ll be lots of travelling. And if you’ve got little Lego enthusiasts in the house, this is a must-have travel kit. My girls were thrilled and wanted to play with it as soon as they saw it. It keeps them occupied during road trips (even in the car), flights, in restaurants, hotel rooms, waiting at the doctor’s office, basically just everywhere!

This Lego kit is a nice fit in their backpacks or in my Miss Fong Mini diaper backpack which I carry everyday.

And don’t just make them for your kids. It also makes a perfect personalized gift for any kid who loves Legos and is always out and about.

Trust me, when I say it’s very easy to make, I meant it. So if you’ve got 30 minutes to spare, let’s get started!

Materials you will need are :-

  • Snack box
  • Lego plate
  • Mayka tape
  • Scissors
  • Tool for measuring (ruler or tape)
  • Double-sided tape
  • Sandpaper
  • Marker

Step 1: Measure the inside of the cover box.

Step 2: With a marker, mark the measurements on your lego plate and cut according to measurements.

Step 3: Then, with a sandpaper, smoothen the edges around the lego plate.

Step 4: Place the double-sided tape on the back of the plate and paste it on the inside of the cover box.

Step 5: Lastly, I’ve decided to personalize their kits by using Mayka tape to create their initials.

And there you’ll have it! Their very own Lego travel kit is ready. My girls were so excited they filled up their kits right away and started playing.

If you’re looking for more ideas, here is another travel activity kit to make your travels stress-free. 🙂
