Dear Beautiful Readers,
In today’s WIP (Work In Progress), I would like to share with you another part of my writing journey. It was a dilemma, which took so long to decide. In the end, I did make a decision based on a few criterias and let me take you along what it is. Do bear with me as it’s not a long-winded post. 🙂
It’s a rather intricate question for authors when it comes to writing. How do you choose which version of English you’re going to write in? British or American? Or maybe Canadian. You would probably say, “Well, it depends on your audience. If you’re targeting the American market, then go with the American English.” Right.
Dear Beautiful Readers!
It’s been way toooo long since my last post. How long has it been now? 3 months? Or more? Wow, time flies when you’re working on a project. A lot of things have happened over the past 3 months but I’m not going to bother you with the details.
What I wanted to share with you is, sometimes life gives you inspiration and you don’t just sit on it. You take that and do something with it. I believe, life is too short to – just ponder. And if you need to take a pause to give way for other priorities, then that’s what you should do. For me, it’s always been my girls, my family and now – my new project.
One of the things which reminds me of home is my mother, working her magic in the kitchen making delicious meals – from her famous ‘sambal ikan bilis‘, ‘kangkung belacan‘, ‘mee goreng‘, chicken in peanut sauce, ‘Pongteh‘ chicken, to her ‘kari Debal‘; just to name a few. Another one of her famous recipe, which made me always go for that extra serving, is her homemade creamy mushroom and chicken pie.
It’s that time of year again, where we prepare our hearts for Christmas by observing Advent. It’s especially exciting for kids. Counting down the days towards Christmas Eve by unlocking a surprise everyday for 24 days.
Since last year, I’ve started a birthday tradition for my kids. On the day of their birthday, they will receive a custom made T-shirt with their names and age on it. You know, something made for them, and ONLY for them, to make their birthday a little extra special.
